Cool Places To Study in Austin

This semester, make study time more stimulating by discovering new spots to hunker down in and focus. Atmosphere can add everything to a study session, like at our premium study spaces at Texan 26 in Austin, Texas. But it can be a good idea to keep your study surroundings dynamic. A quick glance up at a beautiful cityscape, green nature, or a little people watching can refresh the mind.

Coffee Shops

Coffee shops are always a go-to for working or studying, and with good reason. The combination of caffeine fixes, interesting people, and good WiFi can nestle you in for hours. Here are some excellent cafes for studying in Austin:

Bennu Coffee has three locations, and all are open for studying 24 hours a day. Mozart’s Coffee Roasters is also open until midnight most nights.

Where’s the Coolest Library?

Austin has one of the most high-tech, inviting libraries around. Austin Central Library is famous for its six stories of advanced features, but most notable is its rooftop garden. It’s easily one of the coolest spots for studying in Austin. It’ll be easy to spend a whole day in this welcoming environment.

Did you know that there are parks with WiFi in Austin? Eventually, the city wants to extend its free WiFi to even more parks – but for now, here are some great natural areas to splay out on a blanket and read your chapters.

  • Republic Square has farmers markets and outdoor movies.
  • Auditorium Shores offers a view of the skyline, park benches, and an off-leash area for dogs.
  • Zilker Park has endless amenities, including a spring-fed pool.

Republic Square offers farmers markets and outdoor movies, so be careful not to show up when there’s an event. On the other hand, time your study session just right, and you can reward yourself with an event in the park. Auditorium Shores has beautiful views of the city skyline, lots of dogs for pleasant minuscule distraction, and park benches to set yourself up. Zilker Park also has a botanical garden worth at least two hours of exploration, so reward yourself or get stimulated by perusing some beautiful nature.

Studying in a new setting can be both stimulating and distracting. See what environments work well for you and where you can get the most work done. At Texan 26, we want you to have the most productive and fulfilling college years, so check out our blog for more student life ideas.
