What’s included in the rent?

The rent includes sewer and trash. We also provide water which is billed back to each resident so you can avoid the hassle of setting up an account and the headache of gathering money you’re your roommates! Tenants are required to set up their own electricity, cable and internet accounts prior to move-in.

Will my apartment come furnished?

Apartments are unfurnished, but staff can recommend furniture rental companies to make the furniture selection process an easy one.

What’s an individual lease?

An Individual leases means you are only responsible for your portion of rent. Although you may have roommates that share the common areas of your apartment, you are not financially responsible for them and their names are not on your lease.

Do I need someone to co-sign my lease?

Only the person living in the unit needs to sign the lease. However, if you do not qualify for the credit portion of the application, you will need a guarantor to sign a Guaranty Form.

What’s a guarantor?

A guarantor is someone who guarantees timely payment on the lease. In the case of student living, a guarantor is usually a parent, guardian, or someone else who is financially stable. We require a guarantor only when the person living in the unit is unable to meet application’s credit qualifications.

Is there an application fee and/or security deposit?

There is a $50 application fee which covers a background check on the resident and credit check on the guarantor. We also require a one-time non-refundable redecoration fee for all new residents. Contact our leasing office to learn more about pricing and deposits.

Do you allow pets?

Pets are allowed if they meet requirements and all roommates agree to have a pet in the unit. Please contact the leasing office to discuss deposits and restrictions.

Do you offer roommate matching?

Yes! If you don’t have roommates in mind (or enough to fill the units in the apartment of your choice) but want to reserve your spot to live at Texan 26 before it’s too late, we’ve got you covered. We offer a roommate matching program that gives you the freedom and control to determine who you’ll live with.

What kind of security does Texan 26 have?

Safety at Texan 26 is our utmost concern, and we provide quality security features including 24 hour mobile patrol, emergency maintenance, surveillance cameras in public access areas, and controlled community and building key fob access.

Can I have guests?

Of course! They need to be with all tenants at all times.

Is there parking?

Absolutely. Texan 26 has single spaces in our secure garage. Spaces are leased on a first come, first serve basis, so don’t wait to contact our leasing office for availability and pricing.

What if I have a maintenance request?

Our on-site maintenance team is dedicated to resolving any maintenance issues quickly and conveniently. You can submit maintenance requests online or in person at our leasing office.
