Move-in costs typically include: First month's rent + any applicable pet fees. Current specials: $600 September rent concession or $600 Gift Card or September Rent Free (Fall 2026). Contact leasing for current move-in costs with your specific floor plan.
Two eligibility paths: 1) Receive any UT need-based financial aid (auto-qualify). 2) Household income under 60% Austin area median (~$45K/year). Application process: Contact Texan 26 with 'SMART Housing Application' subject line. The leasing team will reach out shortly to clarify the process. Submit W2, 1040, or paystubs for income verification (30-day approval). Limited number of beds, apply early for Fall.

Both available. Furnished units include bed, desk, sofa, dining furniture (move-in ready). Unfurnished units are blank canvas for your furniture. Most floor plans are available in both styles. Furnished units typically are $50/month more with bedroom sets and $25/month more with common area sets than unfurnished. Schedule a tour to see both options.
Yes, all Texan 26 units include in-unit washer and dryer (high-efficiency models). No need to visit a laundry facility, your personal unit is in the apartment. Washer/dryer included in rent at no extra cost. Maintenance support available 24/7 if service is needed.

Covered parking garage is a separate cost from rent. Card-controlled access is available to residents. Parking spaces are available for $99/month for general spaces and $125 for reserved spaces. Street parking available on surrounding blocks. UT shuttle buses 1 block away (free for students). Bike storage on-site (no additional cost).
